Selection of Oversight Topics
Topics for examination will be chosen by the Senate Rules Committee in consultation with the office and based on the availability and best use of the office’s resources. Policy committees are encouraged to submit requests for oversight assistance either directly to this office or through the Office of the President Pro Tem.
Work Product
Our office’s work product will be of two types: (1) formal reports and memoranda reflecting our findings and policy analysis; or (2) informal data-gathering and research to assist committee oversight efforts. All formal reports will be made public.
